Employment opportunities (call-outs) for unemployed members are available on this page and are updated as the requests for manpower arrive. You may also use our  local Call-out  telephone line at 949-9101, or if calling from out of town the number is 1-877-788-6788. 

A call-out of available jobs is made at the Hiring Hall at 34 Higgins Avenue, Winnipeg, every morning, Monday through Friday at 10:00 a.m. Unemployed members who live in the Winnipeg area are required to attend these call-outs in person. All out of town unemployed members will be telephoned according to the Out of Work List. All positions (other than name hires) are awarded according to the Out of Work List.

Available Employment Opportunities

DERKSEN MECHANICAL SERVICES
DMS has an upcoming  job at the Royal Canadian Mint which will be starting this Spring.  Personnel Screening Forms are required to be completed for this job.  Forms are available at the Union office.  Members of UA Local 254, Apprentices and Journeymen, are encouraged to come down to the Union to complete these forms.
